It's here!!
It's a boy!! Leisy taught seminary this morning from 6 to 7 trying to ignore the contractions. Needless to say we were in the car to the hospital as soon as her students left the house!! She progressed so quickly she almost didn't get an epidural. Our little boy weighed 7 lbs 5 oz and was 20 inches. We're still talking about names and how we will spell them. So it's just a baby boy for now! The birth went super well and Leisy feels great! She should be back in no time to fill in all the details - I just wanted everyone to see our little guy!

BLESS YOU FOR POSTING SO SOON! I have been checking the blog like crazy and I think you're fabulous for sharing since I can't come see the little guy or you guys today. I'm sitting here at work with tears in my eyes and it's a great reminder that I too may survive my pregnancy and maybe seen such a cute baby. I LOVE the top picture!

Congrats you guys. I'm glad everything went well and so quickly. Very cute. I agree that he sure looks like Zeb. I accidently clicked on the picture to make it bigger and saw a name pop up. I'll be interested to see if that is what you will call him!! I can't wait to see him. I thought you were having a girl. You do boys well though!

ReplyDeleteCongrats! Andrew was pretty excited that he heard the baby news before I did (this was 8:30 last night...what do I know?) I know you get a lot of comments that he looks just like Zeb, but he does. It'll be fun to see how different they will be from each other though.

I know you have heard it a lot but I do think he looks like Zeb, which obviously means he is really cute. So nice to have 2 boys especially since they are so close in age.
