review on wendy's bfast.
This morning we went to Wendy's and tried out the new breakfasts. Being the cheapos that we are, we only ordered from the "value"(aka 99 cent) menu. The choices on that menu were better than I expected. We got a blueberry muffin, hashbrown, sausage and egg breakfast burritos, and a cinnamon roll.
I loved the cinnamon roll. Kent had the blueberry muffin cause I wouldn't touch it. It was one of those really greasy kind...like the kind you get in a vending machine. eew. So not worth my dollar. Kent also had the hashbrown, far too greasy for me as well. I got this weird disorder on my mission. If I eat something with lots of oil or grease I get insanely bad intestinal kinks and cramps.
Anyway...the best item by far was the burrito. Totally worth 99 cents. It even came with its own little pack of wendy's hot sauce (not really hot). Also on the value meal were other little sandwiches and biscuits. Perhaps another time for us!
All in all we had a decent experience. I'm sure the big real sandwiches are even better, but we really only go to wendys for the 99 cent menu anyway, so why change that for breakfast?

baby z, the entomologist!
We decided to let baby Z get used to him since, due to the fact that he has Biology-nerd, bug- loving parents, he most likely will be an entomologist of sorts. Zeb just stared at him for awhile, even swatted at him twice. We think he was trying to catch him again for us!
New info!

Here's one of their sandwiches!! I found a little more detailed info, including part of their menu! Hopefully we will try it out tomorrow!
"Wendy’s menu also boasts several signature items as both a la carte and combo meal options. Included is the Buttermilk Frescuit - a special type of biscuit that features egg, cheese and choice of a breakfast meat (sausage, hickory-smoked bacon or ham). Fresh-baked in Wendy’s restaurants, the moist, square biscuit is formulated to hold together and not crumble apart. It does not make a mess like most biscuits.
Other signature menu items include:
Steak and Egg Breakfast Sandwich: Egg, cheese, tender slices of seasoned steak and bacon served on a soft, warm Kaiser roll
Big Breakfast Sandwich: Egg, cheese, hickory-smoked bacon and seasoned sausage, piled high on a soft, warm Kaiser roll
Grande Breakfast Burrito: A warm, soft flour tortilla loaded with scrambled eggs, seasoned sausage, roasted breakfast potatoes, cheddar and American cheese, served with Wendy’s Hot Sauce
French Toast Sticks: Warm, crispy French toast sticks served with syrup for dipping
Additionally, Wendy’s is offering value-menu breakfast items, including sausage biscuits, a sausage and egg burrito, and cinnamon rolls. Some stores are also serving regional favorites, such as a chicken biscuit and sausage gravy and biscuits".

WENDY'S DOES BREAKFAST!!!!!!!!!!!

This morning I saw the most amazing thing ever! I scared the trash out of Kent when I saw it. I yelped like a little gnome! Kent thought someone was careening toward our car! Really, it was wendy's. They had a big sign up that announced BREAKFAST!!!! I have been waiting for this for years. I've been telling kent about it since High school, how I all I really wanted was for wendy's to do breakfast! My prayers have been answered.
I did some web research and found this little blurb! Kent and I are going tomorrow to try it out!!
"The company has settled on a typical menu of egg, bacon/sausage and cheese sandwiches on a biscuit similar to the bread used on its new line of Frescata sandwiches. It will also offer its own versions of the morning burrito and French toast sticks"
She's free!!
Hilton, 26, walked out of jail at about 12:15 a.m. Tuesday after serving 23 days for violating her probation in an alcohol-related driving case."She's very happy to be home – very, very happy," said her aunt, Kyle Richards, who arrived with her two daughters. Richards said Hilton planned to relax and "spend family time."
Paris has gone home at last! She finished her 23 days (amazingly!). Hooray for the escapade finally being over! Maybe she really will stop playing stupid! I'll keep you posted on her progress! :)

Packing Woes
Packing is wretched! Simply awful and no fun. This is really the first time Leisy and I have ever moved. When we got married we really didn't have anything to move and I was living in the apartment a month before we got married. What I did have I was able to move a little at a time throughout the month. No boxes required. I would pack up my truck and laundry baskets and bring over a load. In the two and a half years of marriage we have accumulated so much junk! It's been nice to make so many DI runs but we still have SO many boxes yet to stuff with our belongings. We're tempted to just throw everything away but we keep remembering that we will be in Ohio longer than we have been here. There are a lot of those items that we need. It's not like we are going to have money to buy stuff out there! And the worst thing about packing is we start to do something in the house, get half way through the task (usually cooking) and realize that what we need to finish has already been packed away and shipped up to Lehi. We will be storing all of our things at Leisy's parent's house for two weeks to avoid paying double rent - here and in Ohio. We are quite excited to have a new place and reorganize everything.
